The long-awaited third duo album, recorded in Japan and their home base in LA between 2022-23, is now complete.
This time, the album includes covers of songs from a variety of genres, including Judy Sill's "There's a Rugged Road," which they also performed as a duo at FESTIVAL FRUEZINHO 2022, Joni Mitchell's signature song "The Circle Game," "Love Theme" from the film "Ben-Hur" with music by Miklos Rozsa, David McCallum's "The Edge" produced by David Axelrod and famous for sampling Dr. Dre's classic "The Next Episode," "Tomorrow Never Dies" the theme song of the 18th film in the "007" series by Sheryl Crow, Roland Kirk's "Sweet Fire," and "Milton Suite," which begins with a phrase from "Ponta de Areia" by Milton Nascimento, a leading Brazilian musician who has also performed with Wayne Shorter.
Released by LEAVING RECORDS, this album by these two needs no introduction. (Ammel)
