"Pripyat" (2022) by Spanish singer and pianist Marina Herlop.

This LP was released by the Berlin label PAN. Chopped-up piano and vocals. The mysteriousness and a certain grotesqueness are apparently due to the influence of Karnataka music, a southern branch of Indian classical music. This is an album that sublimates ancient South Indian music, which has been passed down without foreign influence, into electronic music. (Ammel)
