PAN DAIJING
PAN DAIJING
"PAN DAIJING" (2024) is a collection of works by Pan Daijing, a Chinese sound artist based in Berlin.
The artist creates performances and exhibitions that are works of art (Gesamtkunstwerke) where architectural intervention, light, sound and movement interact to tell stories that transcend language. His haunting works for voice and electronic instruments emanate from a fusion of opera and noise music.
The artist and composer's contemplation of silence and the vitality of life is the artist's largest solo exhibition to date, which runs from March to April 2024 at Munich's Haus der Kunst, a contemporary art museum. Published in collaboration with Hong Kong art space Tai Kwun Contemporary to accompany the exhibition, this book offers the first comprehensive introduction to the artist's work, which lies in the dynamic realm of music and visual art.

His album released by the Berlin label PAN is striking, but his work expresses not only sound but also movement and space comprehensively as an installation. Pan Daijing. I selected this because I expected it would have an interaction between music and art books (Ammel)
