Perila, also known as Alexandra Zakharenko, is a Russian-born artist based in Berlin. Here's what she wrote in her release notes:

“The two records are meant to be in dialogue with each other.
The first piece represents the "world outside of oneself" filled with light and longing,
The second album expresses the "inner world" - the intimate songs of the soul.

These two records can be played simultaneously, creating a constantly changing flow and dialogue between the two worlds, the outside and the inside.
