To these were added Aristotle's fifth element: ether or vacuum. Each element has its own laws and exists in different proportions among the others. These elements are added and intermingled to form the universe, creating a system defined by its variety and heterogeneity.
The artist Cris Birtual has collected evocative concrete manifestations of this element, bringing together natural phenomena and material elements, which she presents here with a restored dynamism and complementarity.
