Author Christopher Vogler is a leading story consultant with great influence in Hollywood. Vogler was fascinated by the research of Joseph Campbell (The Hero with a Thousand Faces), who extracted story structures from countless myths, believing that the elements of myth are universal truths for humanity. He proposed a method to apply Campbell's Hero's Journey theory to Hollywood movies by combining Carl G.
