Boldly throwing electroacoustic conventions aside, Andrew Wilson (Andras) and John Tanner (Eleventeen Eston) recorded this album on a 1950s riverboat, using an ingenious setup of waterproof electronics and long extension cords.

The eight-piece composition weaves together maritime folklore like bycatch pulled from the ocean: sirens, selkies, seagulls, and even slicks of engine oil.
A stark departure from their 2016 debut, 69 (Growing Bin Records), II sees the ambient temperature plummet, setting sail into unpredictable waters before returning to the safe harbor of Port Phillip Bay.

Though each has pursued their own individual paths as solo musicians, Wilson and Tanner's collaborative storytelling hovers between tension and harmony, rich in detail.
