With new terms like political correctness, cancel culture, and WOKE, people are attacking those who have different positions and values from their own, which has come to be called the "culture wars." When and how did this situation begin? Who are we fighting over, and what are we fighting about? Looking back at the example and history of the United States, where division is said to be worsening, we will explore the reasons for the increasing polarization of society and the mechanisms behind the conflict between political ideologies such as conservative and liberal.
