For an over-connected world, "On Solitude" is Hiroshi Ebina's portrayal of the quiet hum of disconnection, the pulse of digital fatigue, and the grace of rediscovered silence. Amidst drifting rhythms and ethereal synthesizer sounds, he paints a new emotional landscape between ambient introspection, the clear contours of dream techno, and a realm he calls "post-digital minimalism."

His previous work, "Into the Darkness of the Night," also received a strong response, but this work has the potential to make an even greater impact. Personally, the artwork by contemporary artist Chizuru Masumura is a strong point of this album (Ammel).
