EPOCH / Takuma Matsunaga

This is the "EPOCH" LP (2024) by Takuma Matsunaga.

Born in 1999, Takuma Matsunaga was exposed to a wide variety of music from an early age, including classical, black music, ambient, and electronic music, and is currently a Tokyo-based musician who began working full-time in 2021. This is his latest album, produced by Miru Shinoda, also known as a member of yahyel, and which took about a year and a half to produce.

The album also uses analog synths, following the style of classic Japanese ambient music while adding pop elements, making it a very easy-to-listen-to album. (Ammel)
