This is "The Trimmed Days: Masako Inoue's Diary 1918-1922" (2023) by Masako Inoue.
The Inoue Masako diary was originally serialized on the website of Tokushoji Temple in Kyoto under the theme "100 Years Ago Today". I knew it would be published because I had read it personally, but I never dreamed that I would then be the one handling it. ...But I've digressed, this book, written by a female student in Kyoto about the end of World War I, the Spanish Flu, the Rice Riots... and what she saw in her textbooks, is valuable as a historical and cultural resource. However, more than that, it is beautifully written by a female student who lived in Kyoto 100 years ago, although I think it has been edited to some extent because it is a diary to be corrected by a teacher.
